The case of the Frederique Constant FC-391V4NH2B is made of stainless steel with a partial PVD finish in rose gold, as is its bracelet. An extra rubber strap is also included. Both the clasp and strap have quick-release clasps and can therefore be changed quickly and easily without tools. Inside the case, the FC-391 Swiss mechanical movement (based on the La Joux-Perret Chronographe Manufacture L100) with automatic winding works reliably. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour and has 26 jewels. This movement has a chronograph function, i.e. a stopwatch. The large central seconds hand serves as the stopwatch, the sub-dial at the 9 o'clock position houses the minute counter, while the sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position serves as the hour counter. Also worth mentioning is the extended power reserve of 60 hours. The movement's operation can be observed through a transparent escapement. At position 4-5 we find a practical date display.

The elegant and at the same time clear dial with a subtle globe motif is protected by a sapphire crystal, which is maximally scratch-resistant. The anti-reflective coating guarantees excellent legibility even in the harsh sunlight. The water resistance of this model is 100m (10 ATM), so it can handle contact with water such as swimming.
